Psychosis and introduction to "Plug Ins"!


Hey there! 

I'm quickly releasing a set of Breathless games and I'm currently focusing on modern, sci fi games loosely related to my main futuristic instalment, Evanescence, a dramatic game about an emotion-altering virus changing society forever.
As I explained in the related Devlogmy plan is to expand on the universe and custom engine, to portray a variety of viewpoints within the same meta setting!

Plug Ins & Add Ons
I decided to go for an intuitive approach: Plug Ins and add-on. There will be standalone games called Plug Ins (such has this game) and expansion sets called add ons (modules referring to the main game or other Plug ins, adding rules, variants and narrative blurb). 
Note that my plan, as I wrote before, is to leave things as loose as possible, so you can use the main title or any instalment as mods for your campaigns: just ignore the blurb if not interested! 
My primary goal is adding some options and variants to the Breathless engine; I just wanted to achieve this via a modular and consistent set of games. 

The importance of Psychosis
P5YCH0515 is a sneak peak in a near future of the universe, where former criminals seek redemption via the Spectre program, where they are controlled by a brain installed AI monitoring their behaviour. They can push and risk their lives by momentarily overrunning the AI, but they will suffer a Psychosis every time they'll do. If they won't take care of their derangements, they'll be shut off, eventually...
It's a full drama, action packed game where fringe ops and missions alternate to deep human confrontation about humanity, ethics and more. This is fully in line with the vague but still powerful Evanescence hook: social isolation, conflicts and struggle to find a cure.
