Hæresis is a one shot, One2One friendly, supernatural horror game based on the Breathless SRD by Fari RPGs about a demon hunting the characters. It might be because of a family bargain, a creature seeking victims for a ritual or an urbex gone terribly wrong... Now the Demon is here and you have limited time to defeat it, stop its rising or just find a way out. 

This 8-pages (cover to sheet) game features a quick system that you can play in minutes: a set of pre-written inputs and a brief cooperative approach will breathe life into both the characters and the horrific Demon hunting them, helping both the players and the GM to delve straight into the horror! 

Key features :
🩸 short preparation, high engagement! 

🩸 Three Approaches, determining your dominant feelings when you take action. You can make a Faithful, Desperate or Selfish roll, representing different states of mind! 

🩸 Brutal Hope system: you start with 4 hope and if it ever reaches zero, you're hopeless and probably dead. 

🩸 The Hæresis track is a straightforward and narrative driven mechanic pushing the characters in unexpected directions: you can gain Hæresis to automatically succeed on a check, but then another player will pick a consequence, cooperating with you as you cope with unwanted reactions! Reach 4 Hæresis and you're in a very bad spot...

🩸 you can catch some breath if you Pray: this will reset your Approaches and put you back on trail... But the cost is steep: every time you do, the GM will increase the Demon Die, gaining growing chances to impact on the story and inflict massive consequences!  

🩸 Edges are important bits of the characters' background, but they can't be reset or refilled. One you roll them at d4, they are gone, along with all hopeful bits they used to represent... 

The game is ruthless, fast and heavily leaning towards a cinematic and free form slow burn, as the demon will brutally try to put an end (or a new tragic beginning) to the characters' lives!

Aggiunta la versione REVISED in italiano! HÆRESIS è un gioco horror per one shot, facile da giocare con 1 GM e 1 Giocatore, che tratta di personaggi perseguitati da un demone (nello stile di IT FOLLOWS, IT o BABADOOK). 
I temi sono forti e incentrati sulla fede e la disperazione. 

Con una preparazione rapida della partita e meccaniche dedicate per la Speranza (la resilienza del personaggio), l’HÆRESIS (a rappresentare la crescente disperazione), i Vantaggi e vari strumenti per modellare ogni tipo di situazione (come il Dado Demoniaco per il GM), sarete in grado di raccontare storie intime, inquietanti e colme di tensione!
