Con la caduta di Lucifero, la stirpe demoniaca è stata condannata alla dannazione eterna. I peccatori sono in aumento, l’inferno straborda e il paradiso invia i suoi arcangeli a sfoltirne le fila con periodici stermini. La crudeltà di queste guerre fa sorgere numerosi dubbi sull’etica del reame angelico e scuote qualche animo speranzoso tra i demoni, al punto che alcuni di questi ultimi decidono di dimostrarsi proni alla redenzione: per farlo, creano un rifugio in cui possano mostrarsi pronti al cambiamento.

    Inutile dire che l’idea è quantomai avventata e non tutti riescono ad adattarsi alle rigide regole imposte dalla matrona del progetto, la progenie di Lucifero in persona! 

     Siete demoni afflitti dai propri vizi e legati da patti terribili che cercano di trovare un barlume di umanità, che sia per ottenere il perdono divino, una breve tregua o qualche notte gratuita al rifugio! 

🏩 Demons Suffer Too è uno “Stampa e Gioca” speciale in italiano per Tricube Tales, scritto per raccontare storie di Demoni che cercano di redimersi sfuggendo all’eterna condanna, liberamente ispirato a una recente serie animata!  Nel cuore del gioco, conflitti interiori, scontri cruciali con la stirpe angelica e un pericoloso tira e molla di azioni empie, amicizie pericolose, sentimenti primordiali e Vincoli!

After Lucifer’s Fall, the demonic kin has been doomed to eternal damnation. Sinners are growing in numbers, the hell is sold out and heaven sends its archangels to slay demons at regular intervals. The cruelty of these battles raises a few doubts about the ethics of the ethos of the angelic realms and shakes hopeful souls amongst demons, to the point they start seeking redemption: to achieve it, they create a haven where they can share their need for a sudden turn.     The idea is quite ruthless and many of them seem unable to adapt to the harsh rules enforced by the project’s matron herself: Lucifer’s child!         You are demons afflicted by their own vices and horrible bonds they create, trying to find a spark of humanity, would it be to gain divine piety, a short  truce or some free  nights at the haven!  

Disclaimer: this game includes adult themes and language, along with some religious stereotypes, required to accomplish the overall tone. 

Demons Suffer Too is both a dramatic and ironic scenario freely inspired by Hazbin Hotel and middle school games about angels and demons! The game is powered by Richard Woolcock’s Tricube Tales, with the additions and revamped rules of the linked Italian version of the gam, but it doesn’t require any other book to be played. This condensed 8-page game/scenario is all you need to delve into the weird atmospheres it recreates and includes:

🎲 full Demon creation rules and advancement mechanics, including a dramatic leave the story option 🎲 a detailed and intuitive system to manage Bonds amongst Demons, making choices and pacts impactful! Getting a deal is not easy, as it’s not easy to dissolve it: beware!

🎲 a Redemption mini-game at its core, since all players’ Demons share joy and sorrow as they attempt to walk on the thin line in between light and darkness. Behave and gain eternal forgiveness; cultivate your dark side and be ready to lose everything!  🎲 a simple Haven system where you create a base of operation and customise it with Perks and Quirks having actual impact on the story! Manage it, bring more demons to the party and defend it from spies and angels!  Push the story forward, join the demonic drama and act as a redeemer or a vengeful spirit, it’s all in your hands!
